In the period since the privatisation, the company has known a dynamic development, the degree of occupation within the structures of touristic acceptance and public alimentation since 2000 up to present being of over 90%.

The company is the sole holder of the license of exploitation of hydromineral resources.

The company has been carried forwards a medical tradition since 1800, when mineral water obtained the gold medal at the International Exhibition of Vienna and were acknowledged for the first time worldwide.

Currently, the company holds in exploitation the hydromineral pool by 30 sources, for internal treatment (crenotherapy) and by 5 wells, for external treatment, providing treatment to around 4000 patients/day.

The business must be considered as a whole integrated tourism system – present, medium (2-5 years), 5-10 years perspective, and respectively the final maturation of the business.

The entire essential elements of the business exponential growth are owned completely by our client, the seller.

The business awaits a new ownership with a new business management, and a new management of the general business marketing plan.

There is no point in taking into consideration, except as a reference point, the current turnover which only reflects an individual type of tourism.

Also, out of 30 mineral water springs, only 14 are actively functioning, and out of 5 mineral wells only 1 is currently in use.

In conclusion, only 50%/20% out of the general mineral/therapeutic water capacity is in use. The rest of the 50%/80% unused capacity means pure profit which is not reflected in the current turnover.

By putting into operation the new 4 stars/5 stars hotel, the accommodation capacity increases with 130%, the catering capacity increases with 260%-390% (2-3 meals/day/tourist), and the treatment base capacity increases with 75% (from 4.000 daily procedures as of now to 7.000 daily procedures in the future).

The new 4 stars/5 stars hotel caters to a new segment – the premium and the luxury tourism segments.

Also, the new ownership must take into consideration the possibility of selling lifetime packages for the 4 stars/5 stars hotel (for annually determined periods of time), a mature business practice in the West, but still in its infancy in Romania. Putting into operation this specific business idea (3-5 years) will bring in 30-40 million Euros.

Another tourism segment can be catered to, the recreational tourism, by developing an aqua resort on a 7.700 square meters surface and a helioport, which will bring in another significant profit stream.

Yet another revenue stream (which does not reflect in the current balance) will come from the development of a still water bottling center (3-5 years), the development of an ampoule center for therapeutic mineral water, and the distribution of these natural resources at a national and international level (3-7 years).

The people who are going to buy these products, under the business brand, will also want to get to know the business resort, by undergoing specific medical treatments performed by trained specialists (one therapeutic cure lasts for 12-18 days – accommodation, meals, treatment).

The owner also has in its property a surface of 73 Ha of forestry land where a new resort can be designed and built at international standards, which will cater to a wide range of tourism segments: complete medical tourism, spa tourism, recreational tourism, educational tourism (disease prevention).

In conclusion, the owner holds the key of the current and future business, by being the owner of those locations that can ensure the development of a resort at international standards.
